• Turn to the Tarot

    Welcome back

Sometimes we find ourselves at a loss as to what course of action we should take. There are many different ways in which we can be guided. One method that may be helpful for you is to turn to the tarot for help and guidance.

If you are already familiar with the tarot, you probably have a deck somewhere, alternatively you could download and copy some images from the web.

As usual, we call on our subconscious mind to help us out. Sit quietly for a moment with your deck of tarot cards, or images of them and think about the problem in hand.

Breath deeply and relax. Now shuffle and spread out your tarot images face down in front of you. If space is at a premium you can simply hold the shuffled deck in your hand.

Continue to think about the situation that you are seeking guidance on. Trust that the answer will be revealed to you.

Select an image at random, and put the others aside. Look carefully at your chosen image, what does it represent to you? How many things, people, events, memories, can this image bring to mind for you? Write them all down, make a list, and try to keep adding to the list.

Somewhere in your list will be a clue as to what you should do. If you need more clarity, place it under your pillow and sleep on it. Rest assured you will be given guidance.

  • Do You Listen to Your Inner Advisor?

Do You listen to your inner advisor? We each of us have at least one inner advisor, but do we listen to them?

Do you remember as a child, having an imaginary playmate? An invisible friend who accompanied us night and day? Those friends are still with us today, and if we will let them, they will help and guide us today.

The imagination of a child is a wonderful thing. Unfettered by the prejudices of society, their little minds are given free reign. They wonder at the beauty of nature, of angels, mystical beings, and invisible friends. Their powers of imagination are wonderful, just watch them play ‘let’s pretend’.

It’s such a pity that as we grow older, we seem to lose the ability to visualize, to believe and trust our ‘inner advisors’.

Try to pull your mind away from the turmoils in your life, take a moment or two to empty your mind and quietly reflect. Allow your inner guide and advisor to visit you. Listen carefully to the small inner voice that cries out to be heard. What is it trying to tell you?

Don’t cut yourself off from the inner guidance you receive, trust, open your mind, have faith in the guidance you will given. Be as a small child.

  • Coincidence or Guidance?

How many times has what seemed a coincidence occurred in your life just at the right time? Are you being guided? Is your intuition at work? Is it possible that unseen forces are at work in your life?

‘Ask and thou shalt receive’ is a well known quote from the bible. It also happens to be very true, especially if you are a believer.

But it doesn’t only apply to actual material or monetary matters. You can also ask for, and receive any guidance you may need.

Be on the alert as the answer can appear in many forms. You may have a telephone call out of the blue, bump into an old friend, or come across a relevant newspaper article.

If you will allow your intuition free reign to perform its duty, you will not be disappointed. The answer will appear.

A good time to ask your subconscious for help and guidance is at your regular bed time, just before going to sleep. You only have to ask your subconscious mind for help and guidance, then simply rest assured that you will receive it.

You could try writing out your request and placing it under your pillow for reinforcement. It is also possible that your answer will appear to you in a dream, so it might be useful to keep a pen and paper handy by your bedside just in case.
