• Zip It Up

    Welcome back

Have you ever felt like telling someone to zip it up, or put a sock in it? How often do you find that your happy optimistic mood is spoiled by the aura of a nearby bad tempered person?

It can be soul destroying and hurtful to have your happy mood shot down in flames this way. But there is a way out. It’s a simple matter of quickly employing a psychic shield.

One quick and easy method is to zip it up. Instead of telling the offending person to “zip it up” in response to their rants, you have the ability to prevent the unwanted intrusion by zipping up yourself.

To do this, imagine that your body has a large inbuilt zip running from your pubic bone up your body to to just underneath your chin. Now with your hands, pull up this imaginary zip. By doing this, you will be closing the entry points to your chakras preventing any harmful effects from reaching you.

This method can also be used to release any harmful effects of others moods that may have already reached you. Simply reverse the procedure and unzip form the throat downwards, thereby releasing any harmful effects.

Try it next time your sense of well being is threatened, you will be pleasantly surprised at its effectiveness.

  • What Color is Your Aura?

The aura is an energy field of light surrounding the body of all living things. It’s likened to a heat haze. The color of your aura, can be any color of the rainbow depending upon your mood. Not everyone has the natural ability to actually see the aura, but most people can sense the atmosphere and mood that surrounds an individual.

The color of your aura corresponds to one of seven vital energy centers in the body called chakras. The chakras and associated colors, correspond to the endocrine glands of the body which run up along the spine.

Starting from the base of the spine is the root chakra and the color red. Next comes the sacral center which is orange, followed by the yellow centered solar plexus. Green is associated with the heart center, and blue for the throat. The ‘third’ eye is the center of the forehead and is colored indigo. Finally, comes the violet crown at the very top of your head.

Now if there is a blockage in one of your chakras you will need to draw the appropriate color to that area. This is best done by visualizing a bright colored light entering your body and centering on the chakra in question.

For example, if you are experiencing negative emotions, you should focus your attention on your sacral center, which is just below the navel and linked to the color orange.

Another area to focus your attention on here, is the solar plexus, positioned just below your breastbone. The color to visualize here is yellow.

I will add more helpful tips about your chakras in future postings, but for now practice drawing the colored light into your body. You will find that your subconscious will come into play, and you will be drawn to attract the color that you are in most need of.
